Rosa Foundation Donates Winter Coats to Lenoir County Schools

Rosa Foundation traveled to Lenoir County on Saturday, February 27th to distribute 200 winter coats and 600 face coverings at the Contentnea-Savannah School (CSS) for the students in the Kinston, NC area. 2020 Winter Coat Drive

Rosa Foundation, in partnership with Adventist Community Restoration Center Director Cedric Parker, collaborated to distribute over 500 winter coats in a variety of kid and adult sizes, in addition to giving out over a hundred food boxes. We would like to thank Mayor Vaughan for her assistance, United Healthcare for donating coats and food, and our sponsors and volunteers for their support.

Providing groceries to seniors and single parents in our community

With the help of a grant from the Greensboro Virus Relief Fund from the United Way of Greater Greensboro, City of Greensboro, and the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, a week’s worth of groceries were provided to seniors and single parents.
