Fourth Annual MMPC Event

Rosa Foundation hosted its fourth annual Men Making Positive Changes Award Ceremony and Banquet at the Greensboro Shrine Club on March 16, 2024.  This year’s honorees included Mr. James Benton (Youth Advocacy), Mr. Germaine Cousar (Education and Athletics), Mr. Hugh Holston (Leadership), and Dr. Henry Smith, III (Lifetime Achievement).

Papas & Ponytails

On Saturday, February 10, 2024 Rosa Foundation sponsored a community outreach event for the Nu Omega Alumnae Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated.  Papas & Ponytails is a father-daughter bonding event where men learn to style a young one’s hair. They learned different techniques for loose natural hair, locs and braids. 

Mendez Newcomers School Coat Distribution

200 new winter coats were distributed by volunteers from Rosa Foundation and members of Nu Omega Alumni Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. at the Sylvia Mendez Newcomers School in Guilford County on Saturday, December 9, 2023. 2022 Winter Coat Drive

Sharing the gift of warmth this season! Rosa Foundation and Love Inspired Solutions collaborated for the 2022 Winter Coat Drive Campaign. New winter coats were donated to Allen Jay Elementary School, Jones Street Global Studies, and the Children’s Home Society in support of Operation Warm for distribution to youth in our community.
